I need to supplement the low frequency output of a system for 200 to 500 people.
For the price of a pair of delta pro 15s i can get 20 budget 12
inchers. But the cheap speakers are merely rated 89 db at one m (tested outside enclosure).
How will i get more volume? a stack of 10* 12 inchers per side albeit lower sensitivety or 2 high quality 15"? space is not at a premium.my amps provide over 100W rms per channel and are 2 ohm stable.
also how do i protect the drivers cheaply? the grills cost nearly as much as the drivers...
a consideration is of course the cost of manufacturing so many cabinets :(
