Be real critical with digital x-overs... I did found out that: in most of consumer , home studios and even in pro touring sound.. people is only using few available bits...? there available for proaudio use products like DX34, BSS MiniDrive,Ashly, KlarkTeknik, etc.. ... 20-24 bit x-over .....if signal gain is too low ..... it's like -10-15dB too low .... you only going to use something between 12-14-bits of it's sound quality level.. so in this case analog is much better..... digital x-over is only good when you can optimize signal all the time and .... when you have more wierd things .... like touring system delay lines, etc...?regards
