Before I even finished your post let me say this

"Always on" is NOT a good idea for several reasons
The first reason is black outs and the incredible surge that takes
place when the power comes back on
Another reason is fans on power amps getting excessive wear from
running 24/7.
Brown outs causing digital equipment to "lock" or become unresponsive
Shortening the life span of all your gear because its runnning
24/7.
I think it would be good to put a set of very simple instructions
on taking down the system and restarting the system by posting
it next to the front of house and back by the power amps
It can be one page with instructions in large print

Simple instructions and having a few guys you can trust to train
and they can train is far better then the way your runnning it now

Im assuming you have compression and limiting on the system aslo
Especially limiting
