Wide horizontal pattern and more of a narrow vertical pattern

90 X 40 degrees should work well for your needs

Just put an LPAD on your compression driver for more control
of the highs

You can get pre-made xovers from parts express (www.partsexpress.com)

DAYTON has one that has an lpad built in and its about 600watts rms
with a 12db per octave slope on the lows and 18db per octave
on the highs

Try to put the voice coils on the same plane for time alignment
