THANKs so much for your post. I was having a similar problem going from my surround processor into my audio system. It would sound terrific for awhile, then the unbalanced side would start humming and sound awful. I tried isolating the current and plugging to a different pwr. source, but nothing seemed to work.

I found a Rolls HE 18 BUZZ-OFF, hooked it up between the line out and the audio system, and now, it sounds unbelievable AND NO HUM!!!
