I know class D amps are supposed to work very good with Subwoofers
However, because of the design with PWM an so forth they do not sound
good in the rest of the bandwidth

I know of some class D home audio amps that have good performance
reviews

I have had real good luck with some Yamaha pro amps and
they have an alternative to class D operation
