Quad 520 XLR inputs / outputs - help please!

Hello, I've recently acquired a Quad 520 power amp. It powers up ok, but I don't have leads for it. To get to the point, it has XLR speaker outputs...are these common in pro audio? (for speaker outputs, I mean). Any suggestions about a cheap way of putting some leads together to test?

Also, any comments about this amp? I know it was designed for pro use, but I'd be using it in the home.
