I was kinda shocked by the sound quality of the RA-100, considering I only paid $100, used. It's powering actual PA speakers, though, and I may need more wattage if any of my DJ gigs are for more than 50-100 people.
If you don't need to switch sources, you won't necessarily have to use a pre-amp with it.
