Went back

I'm not sure if they were set up differently, but they sounded better this time. The bass was nice and tight. I think the Tannoys have a midbass bloom to them which makes them sound nice and big, but they seemed veiled compared to the ultra transparent BM5As. Also, the setup room wise wasn't that great for the BM5As with them up against a wall and surrounded by other monitors. After I get my cables I plan on purchasing them and checking them out in my room. The great thing about local music stores is that I can return them within 30 days for my money back if I don't like them.
