The source was a CD, but it was in through the analog inputs.Actually, I have come to the conclusion, after it hit me, that I think the BM5A's had their high pass filter on (there was a sub in the room which was hooked up before I got there), which would explain a lot. I have to go back and see if something was wrong as I suspect and give them a real listening test.
