The Dynaudio BM5A, Tannoy Reveal 6D and Mackie HR624. All sounded good, but the Tannoy seemed to sound much better than the Dynaudios (the Mackies left a little to be desired). I was rather surprised. The Tannoy's seem to have much better response through the low and mid frequencies. (The Dynaudios have a noticebly better top end and imaging) I found the Dynaudios lacking depth, space, mids and bass. They sounded very boxy to me. The difference between the two was so staggering that I'm thinking the Dynaudios weren't functioning 100%. Even the Mackies had better lows and depth. Thoughts?
