Re: JBL, 4320 monitors

Th link is too the Library at Lansing Heritage. Simply an Le-15A woofer and a 1" 2420 compression driver. Similar to the S7 system different crossover point. To get a value depends on condition and if the woofers have been reconned and diaphrams replaced in the compression drivers. The collectors would want original us working guys would like a properly maintained pair. That would mean reconned woofers with foam surrounds to replace the Lansplas which by now would be hardened and limiting LF response. The compression driver should also have new diaphrams by now, If you are lucky those would be 2421's the last vesion of the aluminum or 2425 which are titanium. Both will increse the HF response as the original aluminum could be quite tired by now depending on use.
