I will be taking on the task of building 2 Klipsch LaScala's. This is my first HORN project. I've built boxes and speakers before, just not horns. If these horns don't turn out being that well built, I don't want to be out big bucks on the drivers. I was wondering if there are any replacement drivers and horns that work OK. Also, if I change the drivers will I need to change the throat size? Right now I plan on using the 3X13 throat size.
I will not be using these in my high end system.(If they come out great I'll probably build another pair out of some quality wood for it though) I will be using these to power some parties etc. ANY help or comments would be greatly appreciated.
