You could use a lap top system with true 24 bit operation card. I would look into a Lunitec V2 as a mic preamp and a DC AD converter-ApogeeAD1000-Sony (Odie) SBM1. Also, Apogee is releasing the "minime". It looks promising as a mic pre and AD converter with 96/24 capabilities.Otherwise, the Nagra Digital R to R with 24/96 is the way to go, but mor expensive and bigger.
