Faulty Amp

195.92.168.167

I've got a Sherwood AX4050R intergrated amp 50w rms per channel into 8 ohms,and 3way 12 inch pa loudspeakers[Eminence beta 12 inch 150 w rms,50w rms audax midrange,100w rms motorola piezo treble.]

The problem is the left channel, which makes the bass driver move more
bigger cone excersion than the right speaker. It ain't the speakers
cos I swapped the left speaker with the right speaker. So it must be the amp,cos i've tried various inputs sources,cd player, decks and mixer, minidisc. It all does the same problem.

Also at loud volume the left channel clips heavily and makes any speaker cone have violent excursions, resulting in torn surround and cone.
So before I take it for repair. Is it worth repairing as it cost £150 [new] and it's 5 years old now.
