Re: DIY project

heya,
I am currently putting togething parts for new speakers im building.. and i decided to get some feedback from you guys, if there is something i could improve, or change... etc...
this is what i have picked out:

woofer (2 in each box)
McBride VHP1500 15" foam edge paper cone woofer
8ohm
150w
24hz-2khz
56 oz magnet

tweeter
Eminence PSD3003-8 2" throat compression driver
8 or 16ohm
100wrms/800hz
150wrms/1000hz
freq. resp 800hz - 18 khz

lense
sammi SH450 2" throat bolt-on constant directivity horn lens
outside dia 250x450mm

so im going to have 2 15" drivers and 1 horn in each speaker...
im thinking of having the crossover set to roll over at 800hz... and i might inlcude two super tweeters (but then it will change from a 2way to a 3way speaker)

Motorola 3" powerline bullet tweeter
impedance - high at low freq.
protected to 400w
1.8khz - 30 khz

and if i add couple of those i would prolly roll the freq at 800hz and 5000hz..

if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to include your thoughts...

these will be used for 50/50 dj work/personal usage...

thanks, and hope to see some thoughts.. if any..
