K&H O96-rubber surroundsRisky for purchasing 30 year old?

Pro studio recording equipment and music production/industry.

Manufactured in the early 80s,these 3 way speakers(active) have rubber surrounds.Is this too risky when contemplating a potential purchase,as I live in a country where I can not trust anyone to do a renewal of the surrounds.Can the surrounds hold up for decades?
