RE: Bambi without a clue seeks great pipe organ sounds with Yamaha S90- synth modules, software virtual instruments?

Hi Bambi,

While I am a sax player by hobby, I've dinked (technical term) with synths of all sorts on the Roland FP-5 keyboard, which like yours, has some rather nice B3-type synths built in.

What I've found is the synths you can download and use with a Midi-based recording system gives you far wider latitude. So, for example, you can purchase samples like this: http://www.virtual-pipes.com/ (no affil) and then map them. The problem with this is that you do have to dink around with a laptop and all the other techie parts to get it to work.

Lastly, I'd suggest you post at one of the heavy-duty forums for this sort of thing. See the link.

Cheers,

David
