7509?

Is that the pro version of the V900? The V900 may not be the best choice in Sony headphones... I've never owned the V6 or 7506, but I did have a pair of the V7s. The V900s seem bass-heavy if not muddy, but I can't directly compare them since the V7s died (don't ever lend your best headphones). I don't dislike them enough not to use them, and they've stood up to frequent use, including some traveling. Two co-workers bought V900s after giving mine a listen, FWIW. Sound isolation with the V900 isn't what I'd hoped for, but they are very comfortable to wear for hours at a time. But it's been a bunch of years since I got mine, so maybe Sony has tweaked them.
