Hello All
I need advise
i have some room modes and they are intefering terribly with my music listening.
sadly, passive correction is not allowed in my living room.
I have to resort to active correction.
The room modes are worse at higher volume levels.
Which is a better solution
should I be using a parametric equalizer or a single band equalizer.
The new Behringer DEQ 2496 comes with a great graphing display. The rane PeQ55 is a nice unit and so is the GML8200 and Avalon 2055 but the price is prohibitive and they dont have a graphic display to show the effect of the corrections
Pls advise which kind is the most suitable to help me control my problems
