Just read this morning in Broadcast Engineering that the FCC is giving in. They are going to allow the whitespaces where all of the IEMs are currently operating to be populated with communication devices. So all pro audio people just got the big anal thrust with sand thrown in for extra comfort. Anything you buy now will likely NOT work after 02/09. If you buy some manufacturters, they are selling units that operate in the 700 band, which was auctioned off and will for sure not be free to use by anyone no matter what.
