I thought that I read that you were using your coffin's surface mount XLRs to connect to RCA inputs on your mixer. I reread and see that the XLR's were for the mics. Fine.

Again, what you ae doing is not common. You could knock out your connections with one connector and a loom. That is the right way to do it.
