Wireless Monitoring System?

I'm looking for a transmitter and receiver for in-ear-monitoring when I play with the band. I use Etymotic earplugs every time we get together, but I'd like to start using Etymotic headphones instead. What I would like to do is place a transmitter in the sound booth of wherever I'm playing and then plug Etymotic earphones into a receiver. I know Shure makes this kind of set, but they are pretty pricey. What else is out there?
