Anyone have an opinion on SM Pro CM-01 Microphones?

I just bought a pair and am simply blown away. 30 years ago, I was the recording engineer for a major symphony orchestra, and I paid (if memory serves) about fifteen hundred 1975 dollars for a pair of Sony C37Ps and the phantom power supply to go with them. When my recording partner and I decided to give the gig up, I sold him my interest in the microphones. Now, I'm getting back into recording after a long hiatus. My interest is in recording small, but good jazz ensembles with which this area abounds. When I saw how cheap the SM Pro CM-01 big capsule condenser mikes were, I sprang for them on a lark. I expected to see a cheaply and crudely made pair of Neumann U-87 knock-offs, but instead, I get a pair of beautifully finished mikes with gorgeous shock-mounts for less than $90 ea! I used them last weekend to record a quintet (Tenor sax, hollow body electric guitar, bull fiddle, drum set and grand piano) at a local night-spot. I can't believe the results. Quiet, superb bottom (always the bane of low-end mikes) excellent midrange, the usual peaky top (around 16KHz) and very low distortion. Has anyone else used these or other low-cost Chinese-made, big capsule condenser mikes? If so, I'd love to hear your opinions.
