RE: My amp has XLR type speaker outputs, please help !!!

You might also find XLR to female adaptors, although the XLR to male are typically easier to find. If you find XLR to female then you can use those G & H Bigfoot 1/4" male connectors and go with heavy gauge speaker wire. You can also find pre-made cables with 1/4" male to banana plugs. Musicians Friend has some on sale now that were selling for $60 or more each for $9.99 on a closeout. They have 12 AWG copper wire. You can't buy the parts and make them much cheaper than that. I ordered some for myself.
