suggestion on good 8" power speaker please!

I get excited with power speakers now after getting a cheap Berhinger MS16, modified the electronics and have heard very good sound, surprise that this can come from plastic boxes! Easier on cabling, and this one even have tone control and Mike amp. When I used the internal TDA 2030A amp to power my other speakers, the sound is very nice! ( I changed the rectifier, PS caps and eliminated all but 1 coupling caps in the path, not yet change the op amp inside)
I need advise on which are good power speakers, of course, that is easy to mod. My easiest choice is of course upper model Berhinger, but after reading about QSC etc, I like to try..! Guys, I will compare them with my vintage Ampex 620 power speakers one day and write it here! the Ampex is the Grand daddy of all power montor I believe!
