Its simple

If you get pin 2 hot on one and pin 3 hot on the other side
your out of phase

If you run out of say a graph eq /balanced and pin 2 is hot and
run it straight to an amp that pin 3 is hot your loudspeaker
is gonna be out of phase

Unless you reverse the lead on the output of the amp
So making sure you know your pin outs is important
