Sound Devices 722 digital recorder- first use

Just finished doing a chamber orchestra recording with the 722 today. It worked like a charm. Ran two prototype tube condenser mics right into the mic preamp section and recorded on the internal HD at 24/96. It was a nice hall and my friend's microphones turned out to be stunning. I would highly recommend this little gem to anyone considering purchasing a portable all in one rig for location recording. Two more recordings coming up next week. Can't wait to use the SD again. Sure beats dragging around an Ampex tube rig :-)
