The pic is of a mate of mine Peter Lockett, (a brilliant percussionist with a well deserved reputation). I'm not sure quite what the mics are there, look like some of the new type of "drum pack" mics that are so common today. I personally favour sennheisers for tabla, indeed those are what I have used when I have worked with Pete, but shure SM57's are a possibility. If you must go for clip on's all the major manufacturers make them now AKG Sennheiser, Beyer etc, but they will be more like $100 each. Fine in a PA application, not that I would reccommend them for recording purposes though.
