K15 already plays better and more realistic kickdrum than many things -- Fig 6 and 8 of patent 3540544 suggested curved reflectors (based on 1/4 ellipse relative to distance from baffle to wings and to top) could smooth response. (would take work and testing) It could alter balance - something to try
