All the operating systems already support isochronous modes, all audio modes use isochronous transfer, which just means the bus is reserving bandwith on the bus.

Are you getting confused with asynchronous mode? This is one of the isochronous modes which lets the reciver be in complete control of the timing and sends commands back to the computer to speed up and slow down to match whats happening at the receiver.
