With regard to the assertion made above by Mr. Swenson, I am afraid I must correct you. USB audio transfers do not suffer from any jitter problems. Audio data is transmitted over the USB in blocks that are then buffered inside the receiver. The clocking or synchronization between the USB bus and the DAC's FIFOs are entirely unbuckled and operate quite independently. Btw, most USB Audio devices use isochronous bulk transfers. I must agree with the gentleman to whom you were responding who asserted that its is ridiculous to suggest that certain usb cables could sound any better or worse than others.
