Yes I am aware of Jukebox, basically it is similar to what I was talking about except for the lack of WASAPI and other aspects that certain software players addressed to obtain superior sound. Speaking of the work done by Cics, XXHighend and Amarra for example...getting deeper into the Kernel of an OS and workings of processors to get the maximum potential. JR has some very good code writers, they made the WASAPI plugin in less than a week [from idea to user ready]. I am sure they can give other High-End audio software's a run for the money. If they can make a product that sounds that good aiming for the average Joe, just think what they can do if they really tried...
If you can not hear a difference between WASAPI and ASIO I won't argue that, but I can and so can others....Maybe if you listened with a pair of Dynaudio's the difference would be clearer ~wink~
At the time WASAPI needed a little tweaking to get it to work correctly, namely with the buffer.
