JR 14 works great for me except for some reason my TV card won't work anymore...bummer.
Did I mention it was yours truly who convinced them to make a WASAPI plugin...
I tried to get them to make a version that was lighter on resources [just for audio] with the reasoning it might improve sound even further, but was shot down rather quickly by JR groupies.
JR is a great product, I also figured if they were to sell it as a basic audio product only at a lower price and offer the other features at a minimal cost it might be more accessible to a wider group of people...and at the same time give them a metric to measure which features are truly value added [measured by sales]. Many businesses use this approach with various products, its nothing new.
Anyways, yes it does sound good and its also a good practice to re-visit and keep experimenting with different player once in a while...small changes on the software end can make a big difference in some systems.
