Bios says one thing and Cpuid says another

which one is right?

The bios shows 6*140 or 840hz and .83 volts, but cpuid 1.46 shows 6*266 or 1600 at .80 volts.

Which one is right? I reboot to see if the bios changes are still there, and they are.

Do I need the new version of cpuid?
