This is sad. I woke up this morning to find a brand new iMac sitting in the family room. 2.66 GHZ, 4 G Ram, 24" screen.
We are returing it unopened this afternoon. I want a MINI!
The iMac will not sit where the amps sat. Now that the speakers are active, a DSL modem, router, and two LaCie harddrives take that space. Only have room for a Mini. Plan on runnig a long cable over to the monitor and keyborad and mouse are already wireless.
The guys at the Mac store tell the wife I am crazy, but the iMac just is overkill for controlling a couple FW HD and Apogee Duet.
Am I making a mistake?
