Couldn't agree more. I've had a pair for a few months now and they are perfect "surfing" speakers...while I surf the net I actually have a nice soundstage on my desk with a natural non-fatiguing sound.
I did listen to the Audioengine speakers (can't remember which ones) and they seemed hi-fi ish to me.
Tripath and single drivers..who could ask for more???
