thanks for a very articulate reply. I appreciate it.

I see your point about Hi-res vs. RBCD not being an equivalent
analogy to RBCD vs. Analog/vinyl..and I can agree with it in general.

I'd also still like to point out, however, that it is not clear
that RBCD has been optimized completely, which was the crux of my
argument with which I used a less than ideal analogy.

If is for that reason that I don't see that the only aim should be
that of optimizing for higher sampling rates.

IN any event, this will all progress in it's own time, and at it's
own pace, so not much point in having a serious 'debate' or anything.

I enjoy your posts here at PC audio.
