Commercial recordings done at 88.2/24, 96/24, etc. do sound better and a computer, be it a PC or Mac, are great platforms for playback. I just noticed that Reference Recordings hopes to have 88.2 and 96/24 for downloads on HDtracks soon.

The DVD-A ripping program has been wonderful for me. I had about 55 recordings that I am now able to listen to. And most sound great.
