What I have been saying is that bit perefct replay is a given; ie starting point and not the goal.

Good hirez material sounds much better than red book.

On bit perfection, removal of the consumer bit in CDs makes a difference to the sound. The nature of dither also makes a difference. When this is the case, what does 'bit perfection, mean in terms of sound quality.
