M-Audio Break-Out Box w/ Creative Gameport?

I have a Delta 44 break-out box with no pci card. I have looked for a card, and I have seen others like mine for sale without the pci card, which leads me to believe that you can use it without the proprietary card. Is there any way to configure a Creative soundport to interface with the box?
