You dont have to store as WAV , set the server to decode the FLAC files and send in wav to the SB. You get tags with flac which you dont get with wav files and of course thwe lossless compression.
Under settings , Advanced , file types - go to Flac , disable all cept the last (wav) setting that must be set to Flac.
