And I must say, it's sounds great. I wasn't expecting much of an improvement,
so imagine my surprise when I heard:
• more dimensionality in vocals
• more engaging dynamic swings
• improved bass extension and articulation
• a more ethereal, yet, at the same time, more grounded presentation
• improved harmonic density
• an even more analogue-ish sound than the v2

After spending a week with it in my system, I listened to it in two other very
familiar set-ups (Pete Riggle and Jeff Day) this weekend. Everyone agreed:
This thing is so smooth that it's almost scary. Yet, at the same time, it
delivers more inner detail/microdynamics/nuance ... let's just say musical
detail than seems possible (given it's smooth and ever so slightly dark-ish
character). Every song I hear through this update comes across as though
more talented/refined musicians are playing this time around, if you know
what I mean.

Color me very impressed!
