As I said, it makes sense to me as does separating psus and USB.

It probably is easier to deal with the vibration of internal drives than the PCI traffic issues.

One advantage of internal sata drives is that they turn on with the PC!

I stared at winamp for a minute wondering what was wrong, and then I realized I had to turn on the external drive!

On another note, any answers to my standby question above??
