This is CICs view, so I'll let him explain his rationale. You may fault me for just accepting his view, but given the fact that he has written OS enhancement software, his own player, and a comprehensive hardware and software approach that anyone can follow- all without the grandstanding we typically see here, I tend to find him credible.

Please explain why not crowding the PCI buss is a bad thing.

Anyhow, can you explain to me how you handle external drives? DO you just leave them on all day, or do you have to go power them up everytime you want to listen??
