This is a result of what you said in a thread about resampling by 2L.
It is not a general test of resampling as the files are being asynchronously downsampled from 352.8k to 96k - not a good thing for integer maths. Most audiophiles will not do this. I resample to 176.4k.
Anyway, listening to my 176.4k wav obtained with Audition 1.5, there is attack and very good instrument placement and dynamic range in a fanless PC (Lynx AES16) to Big Ben to ext RME dac system via KS.
SRC A sounds coloured, somewhat compressed and digital. Musicality is down perhapd 40%.
SRC B sounds less coloured, less compressed and preserves 80% of my synchronously resampled file, but with less attack and less clarity. Instrument placement is much better than SRC A
This is a test of a asrc only. Those who post reactions ahould also post what the system played thru comprises.
