Hey gang:

Since I had my JVC receiver hooked up to my DVD player, I thought I would try the USB input again to see if it was as bad as I thought it was before.

Then I thought... hey I'll try the direct sound DTS test on THIS setup.

And it worked. Two directsound versions, two foobar versions, all four iterations worked. So my first test was obviously not definitive proof that direct sound is not bitperfect - just that whether or not it can do bitperfect seems to differ from application to application. Could be how drivers are written?

Anyways, I encourage DS users to try the DTS test with an external DTS decoder. Hope it works for you!
