The point was to illicit feedback from those using Directsound / Directsound V2 about their thoughts on the "failed DTS test".

You were already under the impression that DS resampled, since it used kmixer. I was under the impression that DS was a special case, and that a SINGLE stream would NOT be resampled. (The only time resampling is ALLEGEDLY done is where there are two or more streams.)

So the point was not to play DTS tracks, but only use one as a "bitperfect test".
