I've tried both methods CAT5 usb extender and Opticis... both played the music without hickups... both are sitting here in my house unused because they didn't sound anywhere near as good as a 1m usb cable that I haven't been able to beat.


Acer Aspire 9500 laptop Pentium 1.73GHz w/ 2 gigs ram, Vista Premium 32 bit, WAV/CUE files on Hard Drives via firewire, XXHighEnd player Q1 14, player priority nothing,thread priority high; Stello 100 USB-DAC nos
