Just changing the PS in the chasis of the computer is not enough. Almost all modern motherboards contain a switching DC-DC converter on the board. The processors take 1V at 80A (yes thats 80 amps!). The PS does not provide this. The motherboard takes the 12V at 8-10 amps and converts it to the 1V at 80 amps. So even if you go with a linear computer supply the DC-DC switcher on the motherboard is going to be emitting all kinds of RFI.
